Reinterpretation of the work Slow Ring by Salvador Dalí.
We did this project “for the love of art.” We wanted to pay tribute to one of Salvador Dalí’s most emblematic jewelry works by launching a modern collection that revives his work Slow Ring.
The selection of this reference to launch our jewelry project is not fortuitous. Dalí’s versatility in artistic practice inspires us and his daring to design a jewelry collection provokes us. She is ambitious and she is unique. We think that our duty is to be versatile, creative and flexible so as not to repeat things that are already being done. Our approach is broad and we seek to leave comfort zones. We seek to make a difference and be disruptive by doing daring projects.
The origin of the name of the collection – Fast Ring – comes from a play on words that, through the implicit contrast of the concept FAST with SLOW, seeks to revive the experimental and transgressive spirit of Dalí in a new era of immediacy, dynamism and liquidity in the that everything changes and transforms permanently.
The main theme, inspired by Dalí’s snail, ends up becoming a schematic spiral that gives off the essence of its origin, but adapts to the new trends and new mentalities of this time. This spiral evokes infinity and reminds us of the need to think big, without forgetting the circularity and recurrence of life, which although history has shown us to repeat itself, always does so by evolving in new directions.
